Roland JC 120 Jazz

Roland Jazz Chorus is the name given to a series of solid-state instrument amplifiers produced by the Roland Corporation in Japan since 1975.

Designed for use as an electric guitar guitar amplifier, the amplifiers is noted for its versatility and its crystalline sound. Its name comes from its built-in analog chorus effect. A variety of different versions were made. Most models have controls based on the JC-120's standard setup. There are two channels, one clean, the other with effects. The build in effects include stereo chorus, reverb, and distortion. The amplifier features high and low inputs, as well as a three band equalizer and volume for each channel.

There are two major versions of the JC-120. The 1980s and earlier version features metal toggle switches to control the amplifier's sounds. The newer version uses plastic push buttons for the same features. The older version is considered to be more mechanically reliable than the newer one.
